The club will be ordering shirts and hoodies for the 2010 spring semester. All club members are welcomed to email the current club president (Jeremy Bridon) with your purchase order and sizes. If you are competing in either the Trinity Fire Fighting Challenge, the AUVSI IGVC, or the Mini Grand Challenge, it is recommended you wear some sort of Penn State or club shirt to represent our school! Club polo shirts are also in the works, and details will emerge soon.
Pricing is near finalized at $10 for club shirts and $25 for hoodies. We expect to have these high-quality shirts and hoodies within next month.

» Mouse Maze Competition
» December 6th, 2009
The 2009 fall semester is now over, and with that the club has hosted our first Mouse Maze Competition. This competition has have over several teams enter, with four having successful runs through the maze, and one running through the maze in less than 60 seconds! Winning robot Scorpy blew away the competition with it’s fast turns and smooth movements. We congratulate those who have participated, and hope this experience has helped them better prepare for the next level of competition: the Trinity Fire Fighting Challenge.
Images and videos have been added to the media section of the website.
We congratulate all of those who have participated this semester in the club. We hope to bring new and improved tutorials and material onto the RoboWiki, as well as our presentation tutorial series, and new-member robot kits.

» Great First Three Weeks
» September 26th, 2009
The past three weeks have been a great learning experience for the members of the club, as the president and senior club members introduced newer members to the arduino hardware, software, and the stock robots. Groups added on their own IR sensors and programmed their robots, aiming to follow a wall. A good number of new members soon had a working robot following walls, and a good comprehension of what they needed to work on the bigger projects ahead. Now that the training weeks are over, the members are free to work on what they want to improve, and the results should be very interesting.

New club members are encouraged to use the wiki to its fullest, as it has articles ranging from installing and using the arduino software needed to program the basic robots to getting Penn State’s vpn setup and working on your computer.
