Thanks to all the people who showed up for the Robotics Open House last week!
Our next meeting is Wednesday, September 14. We will be doing a tutorial on locomotion – getting a robot moving. Hope you can make it.
As for Sunday meetings, please email the president to show your interest. If there won’t be many people coming on Sundays, then we won’t host general robotics meetings on those days (special groups may still meet, however).

Congratulations to all the officers elected for the 2011-2012 term. Their names and positions have been posted on the Robowiki, under Executive Team. If you are one of the officers, make a wiki page for yourself!
In events: remember that broomball with the ACM is this Friday, April 22 – tomorrow – at 10:30 PM. Additionally, there will be a movie night on our next meeting, Wednesday, April 27. The movie being shown is Primer.

» International Trinity Fire Fighting Robot Contest Results

Congratulations to Team Rambler and Team Duck-E for their success at the International Trinity Fire Fighting Robot Contest. Rambler tied for 5th in the walking division and Duck-E finished 13 in the senior division. We will be uploading pictures and videos soon.

» Capture the Flag Competition Results

At the end of the fall semester we held our annual Capture the Flag Competition. Go to the media page to view videos of the competition. We are pleased to announce that team Medusa was able to successfully capture the flag and bring it back to the base. Click here for a video of the winning run.

» Starcraft2 Social Event Conclusion

The club would like to thank everyone who participated in the Starcraft 2 casual-tournament this weekend. The turnout of student involvement was huge, and thanks to some competitive players, members were able to participate in a few great rounds of play! You can view the final competition bracket here.
We would also like to give a special congraduations to Dan Sprik for winning 1st place in the tournament!
