The Penn State Robotics Club (PSU Robotics) entered the AUVSI’s IGVC competition for the first time in May 2008, coming in 7th out of 19 overall in the “Navigation Challenge” portion of the competition. This remarkable accomplishment in club’s first attempt at the competition was achieved with the help of NovAtel’s positioning technology. The Penn State Robotics Club has been featured in a Case Study done by NovAtel, detailing how we used their technologies to our advantage in the IGVC competition. View their Case Study page here.
