Solidworks is a very beginner friendly program, people of have never used the program can open it up and start using it with little trouble. If you have never used a Computer Aided Design (CAD) program before solidworks has a great build in tutorials. After running though these quick well written tutorials you will be ready to start CADing any simple parts.
