This competition has have over several teams enter, with four having successful runs through the maze, and one running through the maze in less than 60 seconds! Winning robot Scorpy blew away the competition with it’s fast turns and smooth movements. We congratulate those who have participated, and hope this experience has helped them better prepare for the next level of competition: the Trinity Fire Fighting Challenge.

Images and videos have been added to the media section of the website.

We congratulate all of those who have participated this semester in the club. We hope to bring new and improved tutorials and material onto the RoboWiki, as well as our presentation tutorial series, and new-member robot kits.

The past three weeks have been a great learning experience for the members of the club, as the president and senior club members introduced newer members to the arduino hardware, software, and the stock robots. Groups added on their own IR sensors and programmed their robots, aiming to follow a wall. A good number of new members soon had a working robot following walls, and a good comprehension of what they needed to work on the bigger projects ahead. Now that the training weeks are over, the members are free to work on what they want to improve, and the results should be very interesting.
